i love the pretty, feminine, french-inspired vibe from la marquise des anges. i've always been a huge fan of bows, pearls and vintage, and la marquise des anges has all three. lovely. she has a beautiful collection on etsy where everything is hand made. you can check out more of her stuff here and check out her blog here.

neutral bedrooms

today i'm inspired by neutral bedrooms. probably because that's what i want for my own bedroom. i like beige and browns and whites and creams. they just look comfortable to me.

colorful kitchen inspiration

recently i've been wanting to decorate my kitchen but am at a loss as to how to do it. i'm renting, so i can't paint any walls, and if i do paint them, it would have to be white. so my only options are to add some colorful kitchen accessories, i suppose. i stumbled across these beauties in my browsing, and liked them so much i thought i'd share.

i found these for sale at logan's annual summerfest and thought they were pretty creative. the seller is located in northern salt lake. he's a welder by trade and makes these on the side. he's got recipe holders to salt and pepper shakers to cell phone holders. you can check out more of his stuff here!
