wedding wednesday: fall inspiration

okay, this makes me wish i had gotten married in the fall. i didn't know brown and orange could look so good. i especially love the caramel apples and the pumpkin place card holders.

Maggie’s dad made wooden boxes for some of the centerpieces. They were filled with either orange dahlias or red carnations and pillar candles of varying heights sat in the center. The bridesmaids wore strapless, knee-length dresses from Jenny Yoo Collection in the color mandarin, which complemented their bouquets of roses in varying hues of orange. The calla lily and orchid boutonnieres were styled to look as though they were plucked from the bride’s bouquet.Orange roses and dark-purple calla lilies popped against Chandra’s dress and incorporated both traditional and more contemporary fall wedding hues.Orange satin shoes added a punch of color to her wedding ensemble. The ivory programs were tied with a hand-dyed silk bronze ribbon and featured the couple’s monogram, along with an explanation of their Jewish and Catholic traditions. At the reception, floating candles lit hollowed-out pumpkins that were surrounded by fall leaves atop the tables, and flowers in autumnal hues adorned the fireplace mantle. The wedding cake, a chocolate mousse-filled vanilla cake, was frosted in buttercream and embellished with subtle swirls and flowers that suited the simple, classy wedding style. The dessert table received a seasonal kick from peanut-covered caramel apples.
